Most impressed with the illustrations, since the book was composed in 1893. A very believable account of the carriages and locations.
Was needing some illustrations of coaches and coaching inns to use in watercolor paintings. Wow! This scanned book is packed with great images! The text bogs down in some places but it is full of anecdotes of the times. You had to be an intrepid traveler in those days! Well worth purchasing for research and a trip into a long ago time! Enjoy!
